Ministries of Overbrook
The ministries of Overbrook are focused on teaching, equipping, and edifying the saints for the work of the LORD in the body of Christ.
Men of Action
This is the men’s ministry of Overbrook Assembly of God.
The ministry meets once every first Saturday of the month at the church for fellowship. The meetings start with a prayer session from 10.00 a.m. and ends at 12 p.m. Among the activities organized by the Men of Action are Men’s Day and Fathers Day. Some of the meetings are dedicated to renovations and clean up exercises at the Church.
Women of Purpose
This is the Women's Ministry of Overbrook Assembly of God.
The women meet for fellowship once every month.
The women at Overbrook A/G are very active in the church.
Some of the programs organized are Mothers Day (A mother of the year is selected and crowned),
Annual Women’s Day and a yearly District Convention at Hershey Lodge.
The Music Ministry/Choir
The music ministry comprises the Choir and Praise and worship team.
The choir is vibrant. Activities of the music ministry include retreats,
choir day, picnic, etc. The choir meets for rehearsals every Saturday from 12 noon and the praise and worship ministry rehearses from 10 a.m-12 noon.
Young Adults (Chosen Generation)
The youth ministry of Overbrook Assembly of God is made up of boys and girls from age 13 to High School.
Their weekly meetings are held every Friday at the Church from 7p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Some important highlights of the youth ministry are the Annual Youth Convention which is attended by thousands of young believers from all the Assemblies of God churches in the Pennsylvania-Delaware District (PENNDEL) and Youth Day which is an annual program at Overbrook Assembly of God (OAG).
Christian Education
The programs under this ministry are Sunday School, Kids Church, Kids Club, Vacation Bible School,
Summer Enrichment Camp and Talent Show. Sunday School is a Sunday program organized for all ages. Kids Church takes place during the second service on Sundays for kids from 5 -12 years of age.
Kids Club meets every Wednesday for the Study of the Bible in a fun way. Vacation Bible School, a one-week packed with activities is organized once every summer.
